A powerful, unifying energy permeates this work—an energy that brings people together across differences, individualities, and belief systems. It emerges in public spaces—on streets and in squares, in the heart of our cities—and unfolds through the shared experience of movement.

Based on historical moments of rebellion—from antiquity through the Enlightenment to the present day—the choreography explores the collective dynamics that arise out of sheer necessity, born out of oppression and longing.

The bodies on stage form a fluid structure: they converge, disperse, and find new constellations – like a swarm that is constantly reorganizing itself. Within this fluid structure, energy becomes visible and palpable: as resistance, as impulse, as a shared experience. This creates a space in which community, as a physical experience, becomes the center of attention.

Wieder in Frankreich, arbeitete Preljocai als Tänzer in der Compagnie Quentin Rouillier und später am Centre National de Danse Contemporaine d’Angers. Seine erste Choreografie entstand im Jahr 1982.
