Francisco Brito

Was born in Argentina in 1985. From 2011 to 2013 he was a scholarship holder of the Artemusica Foundation. He began his studies in his home country and then continued in Italy at the Accademia d’Arte Lirica di Osimo and at the Scuola dell’Opera Italiana di Bologna, where he specialised in the Rossini repertoire. He made his opera debut in 2006 as Il Conte di Libenskof in Il Viaggio a Reims at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro. In the season 2011-2013 Brito was a member of the opera studio at the Frankfurt Opera. In 2013 he made his house debut Cenerentola at the Semperoper Dresden. His most recent appearances include Il Conte di Libenskof at the Zurich Opera House, Ernesto in Don Pasquale at the Bolshoi theatre in Moscow and Arturo in I Puritani at the Stuttgart Opera.
